Close all other tabs, because you need to learn this!

If you are a social media manager or a business owner trying to manage your Instagram accounts while, you know, having a life, first, how dare you?

Second, I have good news for you: your life can be easier!

You can use Facebook Business Manager to schedule all your posts, even Carousels and Instagram Stories to Facebook and Instagram!

If you use Instagram for business,

this should make

you jump for joy

This means you can still have stories going out through the day without having to go to the Instagram app back and forth all day long — not to mention getting sucked into the endless scroll.

And the best part of that the Facebook Business Suite is completely free (but no need to feel guilty, we are pre-paying Facebook with our souls).

But let’s get to it, because although it’s a simple and intuitive tool, there are a few things you could easily miss.

How to Schedule Carousel posts and Instagram Stories to Auto-Publish with Facebook Business Suite

To find your Facebook Business Suite, go to business.facebook.com, click the menu and select Business Suite.

When you open the Facebook Business Suite, you will be able to:

  • create a post with up to 10 images if you’re posting a carousel

  • create a post with a video (only one video at a time)

  • upload a Story that can be a static image or a video (up to 10 at a time)

  • schedule posts, image-only carousel posts (no videos, GIFs or animations in it) and Stories for auto-publish

  • save your content as drafts

  • tweak the caption for Facebook

  • tag people, location and add products links (it even detects your product automatically)

  • preview how the post will look on Instagram, Facebook mobile and Facebook desktop

  • preview how stories will look for Instagram and Facebook

  • swap the order of your images in your carousels

  • crop and add filters to your posts and Stories

Check out this 3-minute video where I show you how to do all this, including where to find the sneaky “Add a Location” option.

Pretty cool, huh?

As expected, since it’s coming from the mothership and all, it’s a very detailed tool and 100% work using, although it doesn’t have a feed preview where you can see your posts in your Instagram grid before you post them.

It also currently doesn’t have any way to schedule Reels, but hopefully this will be coming soon.

That’s it, my dears! I hope this will allow you not to do manual work on weekends, or at least drastically improve your ability to disconnect.
