The Official Recap of The Reelies 2024 - The First Ever Instagram Reels Award Show
Wow. I cannot believe we pulled that off after an entire year of planning. The Reelies 2024 happened a few weeks ago and it all still feels like a dream!!! Behind all the glam, the Reels, the trophies, the music, and the dancing, there was SO much more that went into putting this event together and we couldn't be happier with how it all went!
Here are some stats of the event for you:
We worked on The Reelies for 10 months
We had 1,071 enter the competition with 150 finalists
We gave away 31 trophies
We had close to 300 attendees at the red carpet and award ceremony here in Atlanta -- half of them came from all over the U.S and Canada, Mexico and even one from Greece!
We created 136 videos for the movie screen
Our emcee Davi Crimmins made 2 butt jokes (not an impressive number, knowing her! 😆)
So many left with new business friends
We already know of 1 person that got a new client she met at The Reelies 🤩
So a huge THANK YOU to everyone who entered the competition, who judged, who voted for the winners and who came to the big event!

If you want to watch the entire event you can checkout the live replay on YouTube, the ceremony starts at minute 18:00! And in case you missed it, we had a mid-show intervention to record a part of the Reel. It's one you don't want to miss!
Why We Created This Award Show
The Reelies was a true labor of love, and the shake up our industry needed. This award show was SO much more than dishing out trophies, dressing in beautiful gowns, and dancing the night away... although that was super fun!
This award show created new friendships, new partnerships, new collaborations, and brought out a new level of creativity for everyone who attended. But this award show wouldn’t exist without every single one of you! So please keep entering the competition each year, keep sharing and keep coming to the in person ceremony!
❤️ Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being a huge part of this, you have made my heart explode!
